About the Stations

Station 1

Rombout Fire District Headquarters, Station 1, located at 901 Main St Fishkill, NY was built in 1975. It contains five apparatus bays with two drive through bays. It houses three engines, heavy rescue, aerial ladder truck, fire prevention trailer, fire police van, boat, and ford expedition utility.

Station 2

Rombout Fire District Station two, located on Cedar Hill Rd, Fishkill, NY, is located in the hamlet of Brinkerhoff. Station two covers the eastern portion of the Rombout Fire District. (Northeast section of the Town of Fishkill) This station contains an engine and utility.

About Rombout

Rombout is an all volunteer fire company formed in 1971, and is named after the “ Rombout Patent ” which once covered most of the land in Dutchess County, NY. Rombout has about 50 active members, and many more exempt/associate members.

Rombout Fire Company protects the Rombout Fire District. Rombout is one of five fire departments or districts that protect the residents of the Town & Village of Fishkill, NY.
