To All Rombout Officers, and Members:
I would personally like to thank all of the personnel, and mutual aide departments who responded on April 4, 2012 and ended in the early morning hours of April 5, 2012 for the search of the missing 81 year old female from 52 Hoose Blvd although she was not found at this time Rombout was again re-dispatched at 1300 hours on April 5, 2012 to resume the search, and at 1534 hours the missing female was located in the area of Arcadian Place located off of Shirley Ave. It was a huge relief hearing over the radio while I was en-route to work when I heard First Assistant Chief John Lucariello announce on Command Channel Three that she was found conscious, and alert. There is no better feeling than to have the positive end result that occurred. I am sure that the family of the missing female is very grateful for your dedication that was displayed for going above and beyond the call of duty. I would also like to thank the Mutual-Aide departments that responded and assisted us which was the Village of Fishkill, and Hughsonville for the first search. On the second search which started at 1300 hours the Village of Fishkill, Hughsonville, East Fishkill, and North Highlands were dispatched to assist, and Mobile Life was on stand by at the command post. I am very proud of all of you, and keep up the good work.
Sincerely yours,
Wes Hall Chief Rombout Fire Company
